Job summary

Peak Performers seeks a highly skilled State Meetings Media Technician to support the Texas Space Commission's quarterly Open Board of Directors Meetings and closed Executive Sessions. This part-time, as-needed role provides white-glove audiovisual, video teleconferencing, and end-user technical support from setup through post-meeting wrap.

Expect on-site leadership, Zoom hosting, and careful note-taking of meeting recordings.

Qualifications

Four+ years of white-glove, executive-level technical support experience.
Five+ years of end-user technical support experience.
Five+ years supporting PC hardware, software installation and configuration.

Responsibilities

Set up, test, and troubleshoot audiovisual, VTC, and end-user tech before quarterly Open Board Meetings and Executive Sessions.
Create and manage meeting links, send calendar invites, and troubleshoot in advance.
Serve as Zoom host and on-site IT lead during meetings.
Ensure reliable operation of VTC and AV equipment throughout meetings.
Record open meetings per applicable requirements.
Manage transitions between open Board Meetings and closed Executive Sessions.
Break down and store equipment after meetings and restore rooms to pre-meeting condition.
Provide meeting recordings and materials to the team for posting and records.
Travel within Texas as needed with at least one month notice for out-of-town meetings.
