Job summary

The Piedmont Club in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to partner with the Executive Chef and elevate the club’s culinary program. This hands-on leader will oversee banquet operations, member dining, staff training, and implement club standards with a focus on growth and exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring substantial private-club or luxury-hotel background, strong organizational skills, and a passion for mentoring teams in a dynamic, private club

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in progressive culinary leadership including executive roles.
• HACCP certification and food-safety compliance experience.
• Experience in private clubs, luxury hotels, or high-end banquets.
• Proficiency with Jonas POS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Chef to lead and elevate the culinary program.
• Oversee banquet operations and daily member dining.
• Train, mentor, and develop culinary staff; build high-performing teams.
• Implement systems, standards, and culture set by Executive Chef.
