Job Title: Executive Sous Chef at The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud

Join us to apply for the Executive Sous Chef position at The Dinex Group - Daniel Boulud.

Café Boulud - Palm Beach offers a menu inspired by Daniel's four muses: tradition, seasonal delicacies, the vegetable garden, and world cuisine.

The Executive Sous Chef is second in command in the kitchen, responsible for supervising food production across all stations, mentoring sous chefs, assisting cooks, and supporting the Executive Chef with cost control.

The ideal candidate will work effectively in a team, maintain food quality and standards, track food costs, minimize waste, and foster employee morale to build a cohesive team.

Qualifications include excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and adherence to food safety protocols. Previous supervisory experience and culinary training are preferred. Proficiency in English, with French and/or Spanish a plus.

Competencies & Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of French cuisine
  • 4+ years supervisory experience in high-volume or fine dining environments
  • Superb knife skills
  • Familiarity with Michelin and Forbes standards
  • Knowledge of health department, food quality, and safety standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently
  • Food safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Assist with recruiting and discipline as needed
  • Organizational and time management skills
