Aramark is currently seeking an Executive Sous Chef to support Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies! The Executive Sous Chef oversees culinary staff, develops, and executes culinary solutions to meet production, presentation, and service standards. Applies culinary techniques to food preparation and manages the final presentation and service of food.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Ensure culinary production aligns with the Executional Framework.
  2. Maintain proper culinary standards for preparation, presentation, and service.
  3. Manage culinary team, including chef managers and hourly staff, ensuring quality in food presentation.
  4. Train and manage kitchen employees on best practices.
  5. Coach employees to foster understanding of goals and methods.
  6. Reward and recognize employee achievements.
  7. Lead team meetings and daily huddles.
  8. Keep staff records, including training and performance data.
  9. Develop and maintain client and guest relationships.
  10. Interact directly with guests daily.
  11. Stay updated on culinary and ingredient trends regionally.
  12. Achieve food and labor targets.
  13. Focus on margin improvement by understanding performance metrics and inventory trends.
  14. Ensure efficient execution of menu items according to standards.
  15. Maintain food quality and safety standards.
  16. Comply with Operational Excellence fundamentals, managing waste, menus, recipes, and ingredients.
  17. Understand supply chain and procurement processes, ensuring use of authorized suppliers.
  18. Implement the Food Framework effectively.
  19. Accurately estimate food consumption for requisitions and purchases.
  20. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
  21. Adhere to food safety, quality assurance, occupational, and environmental policies.
  22. Follow all safety, health, wage, and hour regulations.

Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or equivalent 4+ years of management experience in culinary operations.
  • Experience in high-volume special events is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of food principles and practices.
  • Ability to build effective client and customer relationships.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., and stand for long periods.
  • Availability for event-based hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
