Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead a culinary team, and manage food and labor costs. You will work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to enhance guest satisfaction and financial performance.

The role requires a strong background in high-volume kitchens, menu development, and staff leadership, with a focus on safety and quality across outlets including banquets, room service, and restaurants.

Competenze

• 6 years’ experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel and Restaurant Management with 4 years’ related experience.
• Experience with large-scale banquet planning and management; strong computer skills.

Mansioni

• Leads kitchen management team and directs day-to-day operations.
• Manages budgeting, food cost, labor, and vendor relationships.
• Ensures safety and sanitation standards and staff training.

Conoscenze

6 years experience in culinary/F&B

Executive Sous Chef level 3+ years

Banquet planning experience

Strong computer skills

Formazione
