Job summary

General Mills, Inc. seeks a Private Aviation Specialist to lead the private aviation program for Board of Directors and Senior Leaders. You will own scheduling, planning, and coordination of all private flights, ensuring safety, compliance, and flawless travel experiences.

You will manage supplier relationships, optimize resources, and work with pilots, crew, and ground services. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, operations management, or related field, OR an Associate’s with 7+ years.
• 5+ years of private/charter aviation with 3rd party suppliers.
• Proven experience as a Flight Scheduler.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency with flight scheduling software applications.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities across the organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, management, and direction of General Mills Private Aviation program.
• Manage day-to-day supplier relationships and performance.
• Coordinate flight schedules, crew, ground operations, and aircraft availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Communicate schedules and disruptions to Board of Directors and senior leaders.
• Utilize scheduling software to optimize flight plans and resource use.
• Be onsite at FBO during Board meetings to ensure seamless execution.
