Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Director of People Business Partner to serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders within Technology and Operations at our Hoboken HQ. You will shape talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development and workforce planning to enable sustainable growth and improved performance.

You will partner with executives, translate business priorities into practical people initiatives, and drive organization design and change programs across a global, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR/People experience, including a senior People/HR Business Partner role.
• Proven experience advising senior executives on business-critical people, talent and organizational matters.
• Executive-level business acumen to align commercial, operational and people priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior executives to connect business strategy with people plans across the organization.
• Shape and drive the executive talent agenda including succession planning and leadership development.
• Lead organization design, workforce planning and change initiatives to improve performance and agility.
• Use workforce analytics and market context to identify risks and opportunities for leadership teams.
• Coach senior leaders through complex people decisions with credibility and discretion.
• Facilitate collaboration between People and business units to deliver integrated solutions.
