Job summary

Valeris, a life sciences commercialization partner, seeks an Executive Case Manager to own the patient journey from initiation to closure, handling benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and denials appeals using Lynk.

You will work with patients, prescribers, and care teams, ensuring accurate records, adherence to program requirements, and timely coordination of coverage. Remote eligibility available; bachelor's degree required; strong communications and HIPAA knowledge valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare administration, social science or related field.
• Five+ years of experience in insurance reimbursement, patient access, direct patient care, and/or patient education in lieu of degree.
• Two years of experience in healthcare access delivery preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance processes.
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with patients, prescribers, and client stakeholders regarding reimbursement inquiries and challenges.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to patients, caregivers, specialty pharmacies and healthcare professionals.
• Explain coverage options and next steps in the access journey.
• Coordinate outreach with payers and HCPs to secure coverage and appropriate submission.
• Document all activities within the Lynk system and maintain detailed reimbursement records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and program SOPs.
