Job summary

Joseph Ketner Construction, an Oregon remodeling and construction firm, seeks an Executive Operations Manager to work closely with the owner/CEO in the Portland metro area. This full-time, in-office role focuses on turning strategic direction into executable projects and managing cross‑functional priorities.

You will lead initiatives, build dashboards, and ensure commitments are completed, while embracing AI tools and process improvements to scale the business.

Qualifications

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to create structure from ambiguity.
• Ability to translate CEO ideas into defined projects with owners and deadlines.
• Capable of following up repeatedly until tasks are completed.
• Experience coordinating across sales, production, finance, and admin.

Responsibilities

• Turn CEO ideas into defined projects with owners, deadlines and deliverables.
• Drive strategic initiatives through completion.
• Track priorities and hold teams accountable for commitments.
• Prepare for and facilitate weekly leadership meetings.
• Maintain action-item, issue and project-management systems.
• Coordinate recruiting and onboarding initiatives.
• Document and improve company processes and SOPs.
