Job summary

Phoenix Rescue Mission is seeking an Executive Operations Manager to drive the leadership team's rhythm and ensure decisions translate into results. You will protect the CEO's time and coordinate communications with donors, funders, and partners.

You will own the ELT operating rhythm, manage calendars, support the Board, coordinate projects from idea to delivery, and assist with training and special organizational efforts in a faith-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

Three to five years of progressive experience in executive support, project coordination, or operations.
Bachelor's degree preferred; some college plus strong experience welcome.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with minimal supervision.
Sound judgment and strict confidentiality.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and executive-level reports/presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project tools such as Asana or Monday.

Responsibilities

Run the ELT operating rhythm, gather updates, build agendas, capture decisions, and follow up to close actions.
Drive strategic initiatives from idea to completion with milestone plans and real-time status.
Protect the CEO's and Chief of Staff's time; manage calendars, inboxes, and key meeting briefings.
Support the Board and committees; manage calendars, packets, minutes, and governance records.
Prepare concise progress updates for ELT and the Board.
Coordinate consultant-led training and other organizational projects as they arise.
