Job summary

Phoenix Rescue Mission is seeking an Executive Operations Manager to act as the engine for our leadership team in Pomona, CA. You will ensure ELT decisions become action, protect leadership time, and drive strategic initiatives with disciplined project tracking.

You will manage calendars, draft briefings for meetings with donors and partners, support governance with the Board, and coordinate training and organizational projects to keep the ministry on track.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive experience in executive support, project coordination, or operations.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; some college plus strong experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Run the ELT operating rhythm: gather updates, build agendas, capture decisions, and follow up through close.
• Drive strategic initiatives from idea to done with project plans and milestones.
• Protect the CEO's and Chief of Staff's time: manage calendars, screen requests, prepare briefings for meetings with donors and partners.
• Support the Board and its committees: calendars, agendas, packets, minutes, governance records.
• Prepare concise progress updates for ELT and the Board.
• Coordinate training and special organizational projects as they arise.
