Job summary

The General Manager will provide executive leadership, guide strategy and growth, and drive profitability across a multi-discipline organization that delivers OT solutions, automation, and field services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience within industrial services, systems integration, automation, electrical and instrumentation, manufacturing, or Oil & Gas industries.
• Minimum 7-10 years of senior leadership experience managing multiple departments, business units, or large-scale operations.
• Proven experience leading P&L responsibility and driving profitable business growth.
• Proven experience leading large teams and developing management-level personnel.
• Strong understanding of operational technology, industrial automation, engineering services, and project execution.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the business unit.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Establish annual operating plans, budgets, and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and financial performance.
• Serve as the primary leader for regional expansion and market development efforts.
• Manage full profit and loss (P&L) accountability for the business unit.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
• Monitor key financial metrics including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, utilization, and backlog.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all operational activities including project execution, engineering, automation services, field services, maintenance support, logistics, and customer delivery.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational effectiveness.
• Lead strategic customer engagement efforts and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and professional development programs.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
