Job summary

Spectrum Brands is seeking an IT Field Engineer who will be the face of IT in a hybrid office environment. You will deliver hands-on end-user support, manage devices and AV tech, and provide discreet advisement to executives.

The role combines engineering with advisory responsibilities and requires strong customer service and confidentiality. The position offers a hybrid work model with on-site presence Tue–Thu and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4+ years IT engineering, end-user computing, or workplace technology environments.
• Experience supporting both general end users and senior executives.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for office technology, including desktops, laptops, mobiles, and conferencing devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Manage device imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle management (onboarding, moves, changes, decommissions).
• Troubleshoot and maintain conference room/AV technology for seamless hybrid meetings.
• Document solutions, SOPs, and known issues; drive improvements and standardization.
• Provide executive IT advisement with discretion and confidentiality.
