Job summary

Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. in Omaha, NE seeks a Senior HR Advisor to serve as a Principal HR Business Partner, partnering with executive leaders to align workforce, leadership, and organizational strategy with business goals.

You will guide workforce planning, talent strategy, succession, change leadership, and enterprise initiatives, while coaching senior leaders and shaping durable people solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of HR leadership, HR consulting, and HR business partnering experience.

Responsibilities

• Coach and advise executive leaders on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and organizational performance.
• Translate business strategy into workforce priorities and workforce analytics.
• Lead multi-year workforce planning using data, forecasts, and scenario modeling.
• Assess structures, decision rights, and processes and recommend improvements for alignment and execution.
• Shape talent, succession, and leadership development strategies for senior leadership and critical roles.
• Lead people strategy for major transformations and enterprise initiatives.
• Provide functional leadership to HR consulting and cross-enterprise initiatives.
