Olympia Hospitality and Hyatt Place Oceanfront in Virginia Beach are seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team of room attendants and laundry personnel. You will recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff while upholding high cleanliness and service standards.

This role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, inventory management knowledge, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; you’ll manage schedules and coordinate with front office,

• Experience as a room attendant and 2+ years of supervisory experience required.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, supervisors, and laundry personnel.
• Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation.
• Establish and maintain rigorous cleanliness and maintenance standards for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards and address deficiencies promptly.
• Implement quality control measures to improve guest satisfaction scores and uphold the property’s reputation.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials; monitor costs.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and F&B to ensure seamless guest services.
• Provide training and development to enhance staff performance and service excellence.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies are followed.
• Promote sustainable housekeeping practices and maintain accurate records.
