Job summary

SMI Hotel Group is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to manage cleaning of guest rooms and public areas according to hotel policies. You will supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, assign daily boards, and ensure quality standards across all areas.

The role requires at least 4 years in housekeeping, 2 years supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Assign daily boards to housekeeping team members.
• Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives.
• Monitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.
• Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
• Oversee all housekeeping duties.
• Maintain productivity and labor cost goals.
• Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies.
• Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhanced.
• Ensure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvements
• Other duties as assigned
