Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure top-quality guest rooms and public areas. Candidates should have strong supervisory experience and a track record of maintaining cleanliness standards across a large facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 4 years in housekeeping, and 2 years in a supervisory position. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Assign daily boards to housekeeping team members.
• Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives.
• Monitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas.
• Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
• Oversee all housekeeping duties.
• Maintain productivity and labor cost goals.
• Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing linen inventories and cleaning supplies.
• Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhanced.
• Ensure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvements.
• Other duties as assigned
