Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our team in Bandung, Indonesia. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction throughout our property.

  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement efficient housekeeping procedures and quality control measures.
  • Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet or exceed cleanliness standards.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, optimizing costs while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols in compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets and forecasts.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee laundry operations and linen management.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and products.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control.
  • Proficiency in using property management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
