Job summary

GoodwinRecruiting's NYC restaurant is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the front-of-house team and drive exceptional guest experiences. The role combines hands-on leadership on the floor with strategic oversight of day-to-day operations to maintain service excellence.

The ideal candidate has a polished, personable presence, 5+ years in upscale or chef-driven environments, and a track record of hosting events and managing high-volume service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience.
• GM/AGM/Restaurant Manager or senior FOH leader experience.
• Lead, coach, develop and hold a team accountable.
• Strong operations knowledge: staffing, scheduling, training, service standards.
• Exceptional hospitality and guest-relations skills with a polished presence.
• Hands-on and visible on the floor while overseeing back-end operations.
• Experience managing and executing restaurant events and programming.
• Able to work 5 days per week, ~50–55 hours.
