Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a General Manager to oversee a high-volume fine dining operation. This hands-on leader will balance guest experience with team development and financial success.

The role requires 3+ years as a true fine dining GM, strong guest service, and superb communication. The GM will work closely with the Executive Chef on menu planning and cost control, while maintaining strict hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a fine dining General Manager.
• Experience in diverse restaurant operations.
• Strong guest service focus and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to interview, hire, train, and develop FOH managers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, process checks, resolve complaints.
• Lead FOH team and managers; conduct reviews.
• Develop annual financial plan and manage costs.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu planning and cost control.
• Conduct daily training and regular management meetings.
• Oversee safety, health, and inventory.
• Maintain highest standards of service.
