Job summary

Synchrony in Stamford is seeking an Event Support Specialist to own the end-to-end event technology experience for executive meetings, earnings calls, and offsite events, delivering flawless live and hybrid production.

You will partner with Executive Support, Conferencing Technology, Investor Relations, Communications and Facilities to plan, rehearse, produce, and support events, traveling as needed and working onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years IT experience, or 9+ years IT experience in lieu.
• 7+ years producing or supporting live corporate, broadcast, or executive events.
• Hands-on expertise with live audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems.
• Streaming and webcast platforms: Teams, Zoom, Webex.
• Ability to troubleshoot calmly under live, high-pressure conditions.
• Strong executive presence and discretion with confidential material.

Responsibilities

• Produce and run technology for high-profile executive events such as boards and earnings calls.
• Direct live audio, video, and content playback to deliver broadcast-quality experiences.
• Coordinate with Executive Support, Investor Relations, Communications and Facilities to plan run-of-show.
• Lead rehearsals, checks, and contingency planning for every event.
• Provide discreet, high-touch support to executives and manage incidents during events.
