Job summary

SEI in Oaks, Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced Meeting & Event Planner to lead in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events. You will partner with stakeholders and vendors to deliver thoughtful experiences from brief to post‑event follow‑up.

Responsibilities include managing plans, budgets, registrations, and on‑site execution while ensuring SEI branding and objectives are met. Travel up to 25% and a client‑first mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of meeting, event, conference, or incentive‑planning experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong project-management, organizational, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
• Clear, polished written and verbal communication across levels.
• A client‑first mindset with welcoming attendee experiences.
• MS Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams; Cvent experience preferred.
• Comfort with budgets, data, surveys, and event-performance measures.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility for early mornings/evenings/weekends and up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead events from concept through closeout, includingPlans and budgets.
• PM program deliverables across Marketing and vendors.
• Translate objectives into event formats, agendas, and experiences.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, reports, and schedules.
• Source vendors, manage proposals, contracts, and invoices.
• Administer event tech and registration workflows (Cvent/ON24).
• Monitor metrics and provide insights for future programs.
• Deliver high‑touch client/guest experiences onsite.
• Coordinate logistics including venues, F&B, AV, and staffing.
• Contribute to processes, templates, and post‑event learnings.
