Las Vegas, Nevada-based MGM Resorts International seeks an Executive Account Manager to serve as the primary contact for corporate, social, and in-house events, owning events from pre-planning through execution and billing. This role supports sales and operations to ensure flawless guest experiences and acts as an MREP ambassador on property.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree and has 1+ years in special events, sales, production, entertainment, catering or hospitality, with

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in special events, Sales, Production, Entertainment, Catering or Hospitality industry required

Mansioni

• Fosters relationships with clients, internal departments, vendors, catering, AV, convention sales and services departments, etc., while managing and supporting all event solutions, timelines and logistics within client budget, time and venue constraints for the overall scope of assigned events
• Meets with clients during sales calls to drive revenue for the department and company and follows up with clients in a timely manner
• Assume the role of the main point of communication between the client and all departments/vendors within the property both in pre-planning and on-site
• Leads and collaborates with teams both internally and externally on-site at event installations and strikes as needed
• Participates in and leads critique and final walk through with clients and support required reasonable changes, additions and removals as needed
• Reconciles financials post event for billing purposes
• Develops and maintains a global understanding of MGMRI property and local Las Vegas venues and understand venue capabilities and opportunities
