AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking an Executive Underwriter for its Environmental team. The role focuses on underwriting and managing GL/Pollution risks with expertise in higher-hazard, complex exposures.

You will develop brokers, assess risks, price coverage, and negotiate contracts to grow a profitable Environmental Casualty portfolio. The position allows hybrid work with preference for candidates in New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, or Dallas.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years industry experience with 10+ years in Environmental Casualty
• Experience with higher-hazard, complex risks in manufacturing, distribution, and processing
• Wholesale distribution channel experience required
• BA/BS degree preferred; professional designation preferred

Aufgaben

• Underwrite and manage a GL/Pollution portfolio with guidance from Environmental guidelines
• Develop risk pricing by analyzing exposures and claims experience
• Meet budgeted financial results for allocated portfolios
• Support product development and market competitiveness in collaboration with Underwriting, Legal and Claims
• Travel up to 25% within assigned territory to develop broker relationships
• Lead and mentor underwriters and provide training on coverage and exposure
