Job summary

Allianz Commercial is seeking an Environmental Executive Underwriter for a role based in Colorado, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. You will lead underwriting and marketing efforts within the North American EIL book, mentor junior underwriters, and collaborate across lines of business to meet growth goals.

You will develop client solutions, leverage AI tools to improve efficiency, and build strong broker partnerships while driving profitability and risk management across complex accounts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in environmental underwriting (environmental consulting a plus).
• Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and service new and renewal environmental accounts, negotiating terms with brokers while managing capacity and profitability.
• Drive marketing initiatives and build strong broker relationships with excellent service and technical support.
• Develop a pipeline of new business through active marketing, cross-sell opportunities, industry events, and broker reports.
• Execute on global insurance programs by partnering with AzC colleagues across the globe.
• Collaborate with Risk Consultants, Product Development and Claims to develop client solutions.
