Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join a fast-paced legal team in San Francisco. You will support various aspects of the FBI Discovery program, applying cutting-edge electronic discovery tools and processes to civil and criminal matters.

The role requires strong communication, a deep understanding of Relativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic, government-contracting environment with potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience
• 3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment
• Experience with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide litigation technology support including monitoring laws impacting civil/criminal litigation and FBI Discovery
• Monitor industry to apply new tech or best practices to FBI Discovery
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs
• Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches
• Deliver new functional capabilities addressing existing requirements
• Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for various matters
• Monitor daily separation reports to ensure proper preservation under legal holds
• Update and create SOPs for ETA role
• Provide strong technical and legal background on electronic discovery applications
