Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join a fast-paced Legal team, supporting FBI discovery efforts and other external inquiries with cutting-edge tools. The role emphasizes strong technical and legal expertise in electronic discovery and a desire to advance government-facing solutions.

The candidate will monitor policy changes, validate new technologies, and produce robust ESI work product while collaborating with technical teams and business

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
• 3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with eDiscovery Services across the EDRM (File to Trial).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws affecting FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
• Monitor industry to apply new technology to FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Ensure new functional capabilities address existing requirements.
• Provide guidance on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for various matters.
• Monitor daily separation reports to track legal hold custodians.
• Update or create SOPs for the ETA role.
• Offer strong technical and legal background on electronic discovery applications.
