Job summary

Tennis Director Club in Austin, Texas seeks a seasoned Director of Tennis to lead three centers across the city. This executive role drives operational excellence, financial growth, and strategic partnerships, reporting to ownership and joining a small executive team.

You will manage 50+ staff, design scalable processes, and eliminate operational friction to elevate performance and guest experience. This is a high-responsibility, high-impact leadership position.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive management experience leading large teams across multiple sites.
• Experience with P&Ls, contracts, and operating budgets.
• Ability to design and implement SOPs and scale systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executive stakeholders.
• Customer focus balanced with brand and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and offboarding for 3 locations.
• Build high-performing culture with accountability and professional development.
• Design, implement, and enforce SOPs across locations.
• Manage budgets, revenue drivers, labor costs, and profitability across programs, bookings, and retail.
• Manage local municipality contracts and long-term partnerships.
• Maintain facility standards and guest satisfaction across all centers.
• Proactive risk management and autonomous decision-making to resolve issues.
• Identify systemic challenges and execute solutions for ownership.
