Job summary

Passaic County Community College in Paterson, NJ seeks an Executive Director for Teaching, Learning and Accreditation Coordination. This full-time role reports to the Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and leads the Center for Teaching and Learning while overseeing the accreditation process.

Responsibilities include coordinating faculty development, planning CTL offerings, mentoring, new faculty orientation, and building online repositories while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Assessment and Research or related field.
• Teaching experience in higher education required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with regional and/or specialized accreditation required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and stakeholders to examine research findings and determine professional development needs.
• Plan and develop a CTL schedule of offerings.
• Establish and sustain faculty mentoring and coaching initiatives.
• Facilitate the New Faculty Orientation Program.
• Work with stakeholders to develop an online repository of best practices.
• Promote the use of learning strategies and faculty-to-student collaboration.
• Manage and oversee regional and specialized accreditation process at the College.
• Evaluate College compliance documentation with accreditation standards.
• Identify non-compliant areas and implement corrective measures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President.
