Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, workforce development, economic development, public administration, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in workforce development, economic development, business and industry training, or a related field.
• Experience developing or managing workforce programs, employer partnerships, or strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic workforce initiatives.
• Oversees the VECTR Center, military outreach, SkillBridge, apprenticeships, FAME program, and Applied AI/digital infrastructure initiatives.
• Builds and maintains relationships with employers, economic development organizations, and community partners.
• Identifies and pursues grants, contracts, sponsorships, and external funding.
• Supervises staff and reports to the Vice President for Economic Development.
