Job summary

Savannah Technical College seeks a Director of Admissions to provide strategic leadership for all admissions and enrollment functions. The role focuses on recruitment strategy, admissions operations, and a student-centered enrollment experience that supports growth and student success.

Collaborating with academic and administrative departments, the Director ensures access, compliance with regulations, and strong ties with prospective students and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (education leadership or related field).
• Three (3) years of work-related experience; degree may be substituted year-for-year.
• Three (3) years of experience in a secondary, postsecondary or higher education environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage admissions activities for all new and re-entering students on all campuses.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan.
• Assist in marketing and public relations activities.
• Create annual budget and unit planning.
• Process student applications for degree, diploma and certificate programs.
• Lead in a high-volume, fast-paced enrollment environment and dual enrollment programs.
• Provide information via phone, email, and in person inquiries about procedures and requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with staff, agencies, and the public.
• Support events and special projects; coordinate admissions assessments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Bachelor's degree in educational leadership, vocational administration, counseling, or related field

Three (3) years of work-related experience

Three (3) years of experience in a secondary, postsecondary or higher education environment
