Job summary

Savannah Technical College seeks a Director of Student Engagement to lead programs that foster student connection, belonging and success across campuses. You will create a comprehensive engagement strategy supporting recruitment, retention, completion and workforce readiness.

Responsibilities include advising the Student Government Association, overseeing student organizations, coordinating campus traditions, and collaborating with faculty to integrate co-curricular learning with academics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and three years of related work experience.
• Experience planning campus events and supervising student organizations preferred.
• Experience with student engagement software and assessment tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive student engagement strategy aligned with the college’s plan.
• Oversee student organizations, leadership development, and campus activities.
• Coordinate Welcome Week, orientation, and signature campus traditions across multiple locations.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate co-curricular learning opportunities into academic programs.
• Develop and manage the Student Activities budget and related expenditures.
