Job summary

Savannah Technical College is seeking an Academic Dean for the General Studies Division. You will provide leadership for general studies programs, supervise the tutoring program, and oversee special projects to support institutional priorities.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop transfer pathways, manage curriculum, and advance student success and workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university in English, Mathematics, Business Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership abilities; ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and work with stakeholders.
• Three years of full-time instructor experience within the past seven years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, and oversight for all General Studies programs, courses, faculty, and instructional services.
• Coordinate articulation agreements and academic partnerships with secondary schools, technical colleges, and universities.
• Oversee curriculum proposals, program modifications, and academic policies to align with accreditation standards.
• Lead strategic initiatives on academic innovation, enrollment growth, and student success.
