Job summary

UNC Health Care seeks an Executive Director of Operations to drive strategic initiatives, coordinate executive content, and manage milestones across the organization. This onsite role in Chapel Hill requires extensive leadership experience and a strong track record in executive advisory and project leadership.

The candidate will partner with the executive to translate complex information into clear presentations, manage budgets and programs, and guide change across a complex healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree. Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Requires ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience and 7 years of management experience.
• Ability to communicate ideas and solutions clearly and concisely.
• Excellent project management and change management skills for key department initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as advisor and central point of contact for executive leadership meetings.
• Plan, organize, develop agendas, facilitate EVP driven meetings and track milestones.
• Manage executive communications and prepare client-facing presentations.
• Analyze data and metrics to improve accountability and efficiency.
• Lead and develop teams, delegate, and drive organizational change.
• Oversee change management and strategic initiatives across the organization.
