Travere Therapeutics in San Diego, CA, seeks an Executive Director of Corporate Development to lead strategic dealmaking and growth initiatives. You will identify and execute M&A, in-licensing, collaborations, and divestitures to shape the portfolio and long-term value.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with a focus on corporate/business development, search and evaluation, investment banking, management consulting, venture capital or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading and closing complex transactions in biopharma from evaluation through diligence, negotiation and execution.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities including valuation methodologies, financial modeling, forecasts and transaction economics.

Responsabilités

• Lead the evaluation and execution of transactions (M&A, in-licensing, collaborations, partnerships, investments) to expand and enhance the portfolio.
• Manage the full deal lifecycle: assessment, business case, valuation, due diligence, term sheets, definitive agreements and closing.
• Develop deal structures balancing opportunity, risk, capital needs and value creation.
• Coordinate with Legal and cross-functional leaders in negotiating term sheets and definitive agreements.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence teams and present recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
