Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Newberg, OR seeks an Executive Director to oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality care, and maintain financial stability. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across the community, working closely with residents, families, and providers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in senior living leadership, with strong communication, team-building, and 24/7 on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent supervisory experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Licensed Administrator (if required by state) in good standing and/or meet applicable license requirements.
• At least 5 years in a progressive leadership role in senior living; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Strong budget management and financial planning skills; ability to align budgets with goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; drives staff engagement and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all community operations on-site and serve as primary contact for staff, residents, and families.
• Direct and motivate department directors and staff; maintain training and morale.
• Maintain high resident satisfaction through quality services and programs.
• Lead development and execution of sales and operations strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with care regulations, policies, and applicable laws.
• Manage budget and cash flow, monitor variances, and ensure financial accountability.
• Provide leadership to staff and residents; proactively solve problems and issues.
• Maintain relationships with Cogir Senior Living corporate staff and external partners.
• Keep policies, licenses, and procedures current with regulatory requirements.
