Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Senior Executive Director to lead community operations, drive financial performance, and ensure resident well-being and regulatory compliance.

This highly visible leader stabilizes and strengthens communities, builds high-performing teams, coaches Directors of Sales and leadership to achieve KPIs, and manages budgets, expenses and collections while delivering service aligned with Sunrise’s mission.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading campus operations in senior living or healthcare.
• Proven ability to drive occupancy, revenue and market position.
• Strong focus on compliance, risk management and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide full operational oversight including financial management, staffing, quality and compliance
• Lead sales and marketing strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue and market position
• Assess community needs quickly and implement performance improvement plans
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources and regional partners
• Coach and develop Directors of Sales and leadership teams to achieve KPIs
• Manage budgets, control expenses and oversee collections
• Drive regulatory compliance, survey readiness and risk management
• Champion resident engagement, family communication and team member experience
• Support onboarding and transition of new Executive Directors
