Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead all aspects of community operations, drive occupancy, revenue, and compliance, and elevate resident and family experiences. This role requires proven leadership to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams, while managing budgets and regulatory obligations.

The Executive Director will collaborate with sales to optimize move-ins, maintain strong community relations, and uphold Sunrise’s standards of care and service excellence

Qualifications

• Experience as Executive Director, Administrator, or General Manager.
• Strong track record in driving occupancy and revenue.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations including care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop leadership and team members.
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins.
• Build relationships with residents, families and local referral sources.
• Lead team engagement, culture and performance management.
