Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks an Executive Director to lead community operations, drive occupancy, revenue, and regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional resident and family experience.

You will manage P&L, budgeting, and team performance, recruit and develop leaders, and partner with Sales to maximize move-ins and community growth within a patient-centered, high-quality care environment. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience as Executive Director, Administrator or General Manager.
• Proven track record in occupancy growth, revenue and operations.
• Strong P&L, budgeting and business management skills.
• Experience leading teams and managing performance.
• Sales and customer relationship experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Passion for serving seniors and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall community operations including care, sales, financial performance and compliance.
• Drive occupancy growth, revenue strategy and market positioning.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, labor and expense control to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, coach and develop high-performing leadership and team members.
• Deliver exceptional resident and family experience through service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Partner with Sales to advance leads and maximize move-ins.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and local referral sources.
• Lead team engagement, culture and performance management.
