Job summary

Amgen seeks an Executive Director, Digital Product Management - Research to lead the technology, data, and AI strategy for its Research organization in California. You will translate scientific priorities into a coherent technology roadmap, own portfolio investments, and partner with Research leadership to drive faster, better science.

You will build and sustain a high-performing team spanning informatics, benchtop technology, digital products, and data enablement, delivering scalable solutions

Qualifications

Doctorate, or Master, or Bachelor with required technology experience and managerial experience.
Direct leadership of teams, programs, or resources is expected.
Experience leading enterprise-scale digital biology and data initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership for Research technology, data and AI strategy.
Translate strategy into a multi-year, executable technology roadmap.
Partner with scientific leaders to align investments with portfolio priorities.
Own portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and risk discussions.
Deliver measurable value through data-enabled research workflows.
