Job summary

Amgen seeks a Data Science Senior Director, Research Data Domain Lead to steer the Research Data Enablement Hub and define a robust data strategy for Research. You will build governance, drive data products, and align with enterprise data strategy while partnering with R&D Tech and EDSE to deliver high-value data capabilities.

The role requires scientific data fluency, strong leadership, and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with significant relevant experience in a related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing teams, programs, or resources.
• Experience translating strategy into a clear data domain vision, priorities, and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Research Data Enablement Hub and execute the Research Data Domain Strategy.
• Translate strategy into vision, priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Represent the Research Data Domain in governance forums and enable cross-domain collaboration.
• Drive governance, ownership, quality, and lifecycle management for data assets.
