Nomura is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Real Estate Credit Risk team in the Americas from New York. The role requires deep mortgage/real estate underwriting knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and collaboration with front office, risk, and business units to structure credit terms and manage risk across diversified portfolios.

12+ years of relevant risk experience.
Deep expertise in mortgage and real estate underwriting.
Proven experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships.
Experience mentoring junior staff.
Strong understanding of securitization structures.

Aufgaben

Lead Americas Real Estate Finance Credit Risk team with strategic direction.
Evaluate counterparties, mortgage and real estate collateral, securitizations, and new products/structures.
Develop risk analytics and reporting frameworks; oversee regulatory reporting.
Present risk assessments and recommendations to senior management and committees.
Oversee limit framework design and enforcement.
Manage relationships with origination, structuring teams, clients, and cross‑jurisdictional partners.
Mentor junior staff and foster collaboration across risk functions.
