Job summary

Nomura is seeking a Credit Risk Management Executive Director to lead the Americas Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds Credit Risk team in New York. This role involves managing credit exposure, approving credit memos, and conducting client due diligence. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in credit risk management related to hedge funds and private equity, along with strong interpersonal skills and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related fields. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in managing credit risk to Hedge Funds and/or Private Equity Funds.
• Proven team management experience including delegated approval authority.
• Strong knowledge of major derivative instruments and Prime Brokerage products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Americas Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds Credit Risk team.
• Review and approve credit memos, ratings, and limits.
• Conduct due diligence visits and calls with HF and PE clients.
