Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to assess credit migration and default risk.
• Experience presenting credit opinions to decision makers.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and cash flow projections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Capable of independent work and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/assesses credit applications from branches/agencies.
• Provides analysis of credit including creditworthiness, loan structure, risk/return.
• Develops projection/valuation/cash flow models and tests sensitivities.
• Compares borrower to peers and summarizes industry trends.
• Prepares written Credit Opinion with recommendations for approval/decline/counter.
• Discusses credit structure changes with branches/agencies for approval.
• Recommends risk rating and conducts annual/quarterly reviews.
• Engages in external meetings with syndicate banks, rating agencies, clients.
• Monitors market data and informs senior officers of impact on credits.
• Ensures compliance with credit standards and policies.
