University of Miami is seeking an Executive Director for Physician Logistics & Optimization to lead ambulatory access initiatives on-site in Medley, FL. You will supervise the physician logistics team, optimize provider templates, and drive scheduling efficiency across the system.

This role requires strategic vision, strong analytics, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams to improve patient flow, satisfaction, and operational performance using Epic scheduling and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Strategic alignment with enterprise-wide goals and plans.
• Strong financial and resource management capabilities.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams and complex projects.
• Experience with technology, data analytics, and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational and performance data studies to align processes with IT.
• Direct provider template optimization and scheduling decision trees.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve patient and staff satisfaction.
• Oversee scheduling workflows, template builds, and access reporting.
• Prepare reports, conduct surveys, and evaluate fiscal performance.
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary teams to meet access program goals.
• Define project scope with leadership and manage cross-site implementations.
• Develop change management strategies and monitor project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and internal controls.
