Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a full-time Scheduling Lead for Radiology to oversee complex imaging appointment workflows and ensure accurate patient data. This role requires coordinating with physicians, using EPIC/UChart/Radiant, and guiding a team of schedulers in a fast-paced environment at UM Hospital & Clinics.

You will monitor call volumes, generate daily reports, participate in performance reviews, and promote quality standards across scheduling operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 3+ years of outpatient scheduling experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and healthcare systems (EPIC/UChart/Radiant; Meditech).
• Strong customer service and ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling workflow for IR Schedulers in Radiology.
• Provide daily pending orders and scheduling reports to Radiology administration.
• Lead, educate, and orient new scheduling staff; supervise performance.
• Utilize EPIC/UChart/Radiant and Meditech for scheduling across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate with physicians and departments for special procedures and verify patient data.
