Job summary

The University of Miami's Department of Physician Logistics and Optimization seeks an Executive Director to supervise and advance ambulatory access and physician logistics across UHealth. You will lead data-driven improvements and coordinate scheduling strategy and templates with Epic and IT partners.

You will drive Lean-based process optimization, manage cross-functional teams, and report outcomes to senior leadership, shaping access strategy for the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience leading scheduling and access programs across a health system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates studies of operational and performance data related to provider scheduling and physician logistics.
• Oversees systemwide provider template optimization and scheduling decision trees.
• Drives Lean-based process improvement across scheduling workflows and reporting.
• Manages projects with IT and ambulatory leadership to implement access initiatives.
• Develops change management strategies and tracks measurable outcomes.
