You will own performance, culture, and long-term growth, working closely with ownership and corporate leadership to align with the brand.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong commercial instincts, and a track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and exceptional service in luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in luxury or independent hotels.
• Experience as Managing Director, General Manager or senior operations executive.
• Proven ability to grow revenue and improve profitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy, performance, and day-to-day leadership of Santa Monica Proper Hotel.
• Drive financial performance including revenue, labor, operating expenses, forecasting, and budgets.
• Build and lead an executive team; foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.
• Partner with ownership and corporate leadership on strategy and capital priorities.
• Ensure luxury guest experience and service standards across all outlets.
