Job summary

The Regent Santa Monica Beach is seeking a Director of Luxury Sales to lead all leisure sales initiatives for the ultra-luxury property. You will drive revenue by developing strategic plans to attract high-net-worth clients, travel advisors, and luxury consortia, while expanding key accounts and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, with 3–5 years in senior leisure sales leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Extensive experience with high-end leisure markets, luxury travel agencies, and major luxury consortia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategic sales plans to secure new corporate and leisure accounts while growing existing relationships.
• Identify and pursue opportunities within the luxury travel sector through market research.
• Leverage IHG or Regent partnership networks to expand reach.
• Build and manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to leisure sales teams; monitor performance and coaching needs.
