Community Assistance Network (CAN) in Baltimore County seeks an executive leader to guide a mission-driven nonprofit focused on homelessness and housing stability. The Executive Director will chart strategy, steward resources, and advance services that transform lives.

You will build strong partnerships with government, foundations, and donors, foster an inclusive workplace, empower staff, and advocate for CAN across the region to sustain impactful community work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated history of leading complex organizations or programs.
• Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource development.
• Strong relationships with boards, funders, partners, and community stakeholders.
• People leadership and employee engagement skills.
• Strategic planning and organizational development expertise.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Passion for addressing social and economic challenges facing vulnerable populations.

• Partner effectively with the Board of Directors in governance, strategy, and organizational advancement.
• Serve as a visible ambassador and advocate for CAN throughout the community.
